All Souls - Tulsa: Three-Year Cycle of Themes

All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa describes their use of the themes-based approach as follows:

The program is anchored around monthlytheological themes (one theme per month) that are the focus of churchlife and programming across the lifespan. There are three years worthof monthly themes and the cycle begins again in the fourth year. Eachtheme has a story associated with it and the story offers language,symbols and metaphors on the theme. The congregation is offeredmultiple ways to engage the themes through worship, classes, smallgroups, newsletter articles, spiritual homework, at-home familypractices, a reading list for further reading on the theme and more.
